All About Me!
Random Bits About Wendy F:
Mother of a preteen, Wife of a 36 year old! Loving Dogs and Cat Owner, Lit Social Networker since 2010, reader since birth. Yes, I said birth. Ask my mother!
Interests/Hobbies:
I'm a reader, hence the Lit Social Networker. I also love television and movies. The three go hand in hand, I say. They're all wormholes (in a sense) out of our own reality and into another. Well, if it's fiction anyway, which for me it usually is. I also love music, most any kind, but I'm not afraid to admit that my favorite is pop music. I love NKOTB, The Wanted, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake.... I can't even pretend otherwise.
In times of high stress I find myself gravitating to my bookshelves, I have 3, and I will stand for hours and reorganize and shuffle them. I'm not a fan of alphabetical order. I prefer them to look aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It's like a constant puzzle, keeping series together, but keeping the rows and lines flowing and pretty. It's probably the one area of my life where I get a bit OCD. You have no idea how many pictures I have taken of my book shelves. (Don't be surprised when I occasionally post a picture of a bookshelf on my booklikes blog.) Anyway, so I guess i could consider that, collecting and organizing books, a hobby.
Book Genre's I read:
I pretty much read fiction only, about 99% of the time. However, I jump EVERYWHERE in terms of Genre or age group. Anything from Historical Romance/Fiction (Such as The Hathaways to Margaret George's Mary Queen of Scots) to Stephen King. I love Adult Urban Fantasy, but not so much YA UF. I love YA Contemporary Fiction, but not so much Adult Contemporary Fiction. Though that doesn't stop me from occasionally picking one up if it comes highly recommended. I'll even occasionally pick up a middle grade book if it strikes my fantasy.
Television I watch;
Castle, Bones, SYTYCD, The Voice, Glee, Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead, Nashville, Real World/Road Rules Challenges, General Hospital (since I was a child at my Mommy's knee). Well, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson's Creek, but those are no more, so sad.
