Dead Heat by Patricia Briggs
This wasn't as good as the previous Anna and Charles book, but it was still good. I think what makes me like this series as much as I do is Anna. I'm partial to the heroines in the story who aren't always huge warrior women. Strength comes in many forms, and mine comes from a place that is more emotional... and I think I share that with Anna.
What I wish I had gotten more from the book, though, is flashbacks of Charles and Joesph when they were younger.
All in all it was good installment. I hope the wait for the next book isn't as long.
