This book!!!

In Captive Prince, the first volume, it took me a while to warm up to the characters and the story. However, when I got to the end I was completely and utterly hooked. I also knew, in my gut, that the second book was going to be completely and utterly amazing.

Yeah, well promises were made and kept because this volume was all shades of brilliant. It's impossible for me to even remotely give you an unjaded review because there was almost nothing that I didn't absolutely love.

Damen was power and gentleness all rolled up into one very large man. Laurent was all cunningness and vulnerability... together they lit the pages on fire. And the best part, that was WITHOUT an overabundance of sex! The magic happened between these two men in the brain and in the heart.

I am literally sick with wanting for the next book. I would, possibly, crawl on broken glass if it meant we would get it sooner!
