Day 27: Most surprising plot twist or ending!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling
Reason 1: The Whomping Willow! I mean, who saw that coming? Talk about layers and secrets!
Reason 2: Scabbers!!! Um, again, I absolutely positively never would have guessed. Smart Crookshanks!
Reason 3: The time turner and the overlapping storyarch. Bloody brilliant!
The way that this installment brought things together, the plot weaving back on itself, is what makes it my most favorite Harry Potter book in the whole series. I WISH I had as much creativity as this author.
