Here are my picks, in order:

#1 - Jamie Fraser  (Outlander)

Jamie Fraser

There really is no comparison for me.  I mean, I started to say 'In no particular order' as the poster before me did for this game of tag, but it would have been a lie.  There is absolutely an order, especially where James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser is concerned.  He will always hold my number one spot.

“And I mean to hear ye groan like that again. And to moan and sob, even though you dinna wish to, for ye canna help it. I mean to make you sigh as though your heart would break, and scream with the wanting, and at last to cry out in my arms, and I shall know that I've served ye well.”

#2 - Terrible (Downside Ghosts)

terrible

It sucks, because I searched and searched for a good image of Terrible, but they just don't exist.  The ONLY fanart of him I saw didn't look like him at all.  Terrible is Rock-a-Billy, and he has a terrifying and brutal looking face.  He's not handsome.  What makes him so amazing goes way beyond his looks to the person he is inside.  It's in how he loves Chess and in how he sees himself.  He's a lesson in how beauty and attraction go beyond the way a face is structured.

“Shit. You so fuckin pretty, Chessie. True thing. So … ain’t even can breathe sometimes.”

#3 - Froi (Lumatere Chronicles)

froi

Froi, for most, grew in your heart after the first book.  For me, though, I loved and felt for him immediately.  I remember reading Finnikin of the Rock and thinking that Froi was meant for greatness.  I love being right.  In Froi of the Exiles and Quintana of Charyn he was able to really shine, and even rereading just bits and pieces brings me to my emotional knees.

“Our bodies aren't strangers," he said, his voice ragged. "Our spirits aren't strangers." He held her face in his hands. "Tell me what part of me is stranger to you and I'll destroy that part of me."
And she wept to hear his words.

I would love to mention Jericho Barrons, as he ALMOST took Froi's spot above.  But I'm sticking to just three.  Now I want to read about yours too.  Post yours, then tag your followers to do the same!
