I have so many thoughts going on in my head, but I hate putting too many spoilers in my reviews.
How about I leave it like this, I can see now why there is so much up and down love for the men in Eugenie's life. Dorian really grew on me in this one. Wrong or not, I loved that Dorian avenged Eugenie, and I was so disappointed in Kiyo's lack of protectiveness (especially after his threat when they defeated Animal-frankenstein). In addition, I find it hard to believe that with all of Kiyo's animalistic instincts, HE didn't want to rip Leith's throat out too. Both of these men are incredible, but yet exasperating. If I could just smoosh them into one male I think he'd be pretty darn close to perfect.
I liked this book a lot. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Mead writes great UF's. I think I just liked this one just a smidgen less then the first.
