Where She Went
If I stay, Mia is a cellist and the music references were more classical and the tone and feel felt classical.
Where She Went, Adam is Rock and Roll. It felt rougher.
Many people say that they prefer Adam's voice, and I have to agree. That's not to mean that I liked this one more. I think in If I Stay, the strength of the book was the premise. Mia's accident and being in the hospital. In this, we needed to feel Adam's pain. We needed to feel that he's teetering on the edge of a chasm. It worked.
I was so happy with the end of the book. It ended exactly as I wanted it to.
Highly enjoyable.
