The Fault in Our Stars

There are two reviewers inside me right now. There's one who wants to pick it apart and mention the parts that I thought were maybe overkill. Then there's the other, the bigger part, that was sucked right in by that overkill and who bawled buckets with every word.
That second reviewer wins.
Many reviews tout John Green as a master word smith, and he really really is. Sure, the characters in this book sounded much older and used words that I needed to look up, but is it really so far-fetched? I mean, they're dying. I would imagine that would make one more mature then they should be.
Did I mention that I bawled buckets?
I really liked Hazel, but I know that for a long time I'll randomly think about Augustus Waters. Augustus Waters, unlit cigarettes and all, was so amazing.
This review sucks, it doesn't even do it justice. Read someone else's, someone much more eloquent then me, please.
