The Winter Sea
This is a case of a very well written book that just didn't affect me.
The plot was original, it just didn't seem to really take me anywhere. Others cried, but I was sort of pretty blase about the whole thing.
I think that the problem, for me, was that when I started to care about one story they would flop again. Perhaps if it had been two separate stories I would have felt a connection with someone.
