Bloody Jack: Being an Account of the Curious Adventures of Mary "Jacky" Faber, Ship's Boy (Bloody Jack, #1)

Bloody Jack: Being an Account of the Curious Adventures of Mary "Jacky" Faber, Ship's Boy (Bloody Jack, #1) - L.A. Meyer Unfortunately I did not like this book. Here are the reasons why:- way to violent, for what I percieved as a midteen book (13-14-15)- the written dialect made it very hard to understand and follow (probably much better on audio)- I didn't buy the love between Jacky and Jaimy, wasn't "real" to meNow, most of my GR friends love this series, so I'm not going to give it a star rating at this time. I'm going to wait and get it from Audible as an audio book and try it that way. It could just be me, and my brain was rebeling the reading of it.So at this time, I'm going to withhold a final verdict.
